In Corpore Goes Global

A long time ago I had the pleasure of working with Ivan Malekin and Sarah Jayne. And I loved it! We decided to keep working together and so I came on board as their co-producer for a film about complications in contemporary relationships… But are heart matters all that “contemporary”?… You’ll have to let us know!

IN CORPORE (a NEXUS PRODUCTION GROUP film) was born: “A sensual, sex-positive exploration of contemporary relationships, shown through four anthological stories set in Melbourne, Berlin, Malta and New York. In Corpore delves deep into the gray areas of relationships, exposing the consequences associated with love and lust, commitment and infidelity, traditional expectations and self-gratification.

Very excitingly, the movie’s Global Launch Date is scheduled for December 26th, 2020!

To me, we have created a symphony of a feature film in four “acts”. In corpore moves away from mainstream cinematographic narrative and through the genre of mumblecore uses “love-making” as the driving character to explore romantic relationships. There is an element of uterus-focus-empowerment… from discussions of cisgendered women as property in marriage, to breeding equipment, to sexual careers. Hands carry us through the story, providing a tactile hope to relieve the pain we sometimes feel in love.
